Analytics on this website

When analytics is enabled, this website records page views and clicks on Amazon links. Click counts do not reveal whether a purchase was made.

Cloudflare receives network information when serving the website. Before a visit is stored in the site's analytics database, the IP address is converted into a keyed hash. The analytics records contain that token, the page path, approximate country and region, referring domain, event type and time. Raw IP addresses, full referring URLs and URL query strings are not stored in those records.

Distinct IP-based tokens provide an estimate of visitors, not a count of identified people. Shared networks, changing IP addresses and VPNs affect this estimate.

The analytics code does not set cookies or use local storage. It respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals and skips known automated clients. Reports cover the most recent 30 days; older event records are purged during collection.

Site analytics are stored in the site's Supabase PostgreSQL project and are available only through the private administration interface. IP exclusions can remove test traffic from reports and future collection.
